Hi Friends!
I. GREETING
The Count and I just returned from a lovely week with dear friends on Dataw Island, South Carolina. I must say.....it was just about the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. No agenda. Just get up in the morning, have coffee on the deck watching the marsh, and then make loose plans for the day. I could get sew used to that!!
Ron and Tom did a lot of golfing, Martha and I did quilty stuff and history stuff. I love learning about the Antebellum history of the Low Country!  Looking forward to visiting again next year!
We have some great goodies in stock now for the Featherweight Fanatic in your life!!  At Creations SewClever we now stock these wonderful 'gas pedal pushers' for our Featherweight Friends and anyone else who has an antique machine with this style foot pedal. Especially great for those with arthritis or neuropathy. Holes are drilled to hold foot pedal pads, nonslip grips on bottom, fold top across foot pedal and use your entire foot to depress your 'gas pedal'. Made from beautifully stained and finished hardwood. ($25.)

While we're on a Featherweight roll.....how about this AWESOME fabric?!! (The quarter is there to show scale). Fabric is $12/yd.

   EMBROIDERY CLUB ~
Beginning Tuesday, May 2, Edlyn will be hosting Embroidery Club the first Tuesday evening every  month. Through this summer and early fall, hours will be 4-8pm since it stays light well beyond that time.  As the seasons change you can discuss among yourselves whether you want to adjust the day/time.  Each meeting is $10 and everyone will work on a project. Part of the beauty of 'club'-type events is the networking and sharing that goes on. Everyone shares skills and ideas and creativity ramps up exponentially.  In May the project will be an embroidered angel pillow ~ perfect for Mother's Day, birthday, or just for yourself! You will receive 15% off shopping during club hours. (You may bring ANY embroidery machine, but you must know how to use it....this is not a class, it's a fun gathering and sharing of techniques and information). Please let us know if you are coming sew we can be sure to have enough patterns!
While discussing embroidery.....Edlyn just completed this adorable embroidered quilt and Sue Nichols quilted it equally adorably!  Edlyn is planning to offer this as an Embroidery Block A Month beginning sometime mid-summer. Would you be interested? We're still working out details, but know that will NOT be offered on a Saturday. At this time we're considering Thursdays from 2-5.  We welcome feedback!
