Made from beautifully stained and finished hardwood. ($25.)

RECIPES & CLOSING
How about a few easy, yummy autumn recipes to get you in the mood.....
MAC AND CHEESE CHICKEN SOUP
1 1/2 c. macaroni (uncooked)
1 1/4 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
4 tbsp. butter, divided
1 onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1/3 c. flour
4 c. chicken stock
4 c. milk
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1 small head broccoli, cut into small florets (about 4 cups)
8 oz. extra-sharp cheddar cheese, grated (about 2 cups)
Cook pasta according to package directions; set aside. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through, 6 to 9 minutes. Remove chicken to a plate. Reduce heat to medium. Add onion, bell pepper, and remaining 3 tablespoons butter to pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, 3 to 5 minutes. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Slowly stir in stock, then milk and mustard. Simmer until thickened, about 7 to 8 minutes. Stir in broccoli and reserved chicken. Simmer until broccoli is tender and soup is thickened, 4 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 1 min. Stir in cooked pasta. Gradually stir in cheese until melted and smooth.
SHEET PAN CHICKEN WITH FALL VEGGIES
3 T olive oil, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 T chopped fresh rosemary, divided
1 tsp ground cinnamon
4 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved (quarter if very large), about 1 pound
1 large sweet potato, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 medium red onion, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
1 medium Granny smith apple, peeled, cored, and cut into rough 1-inch pieces (these
pieces should be larger than the other vegetables)
Preheat the oven to 425*. Place the chicken breasts in a large ziplock bag. Drizzle with 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil, then add the garlic, 1 tablespoon rosemary, cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Zip the bag tightly, then shake and rub the bag to coat the chicken in the oil and spices. Set aside while you chop the vegetables and apples, or refrigerate for up to 1 day. Once chopped, place the Brussels sprouts, sweet potato, onion, and apple on a large, rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle with the remaining 1 1/2 T olive oil, toss to evenly coat, then spread into an even layer.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and place on top of the apple and vegetables. Place in the oven and roast until the chicken is cooked through, about 25 to 35 minutes, or until done. Once the chicken is cooked through, remove to a plate to rest and cover with foil to keep warm. Toss the apple and vegetables on the pan, then return the pan to the oven and continue baking until caramelized and tender, about 10 to 15 additional minutes. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary. Serve warm with the rested chicken.
APPLE POMEGRANATE CRISP
4 medium apples - peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 pomegranate, skin and light-colored membrane removed
1/2 C brown sugar
1 T ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg1/2 C rolled oats
1/2 C flour
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C butter, melted
Preheat the oven to 375*. Butter a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a large bowl, toss together the apples, pomegranate seeds, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread evenly into the prepared pan. In the same bowl, stir together the oats, flour and sugar. Rub in the butter between your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over the top of the fruit. Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the apples are soft. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature with whipped cream or ice cream
Autumn is springtime in reverse. ~Terri Guillemets
I can smell autumn dancing in the breeze.
The sweet chill of pumpkin and crisp sunburnt leaves.
Of all the seasons, autumn offers the most to man and requires the least of him.
